Amazon, one of the largest trading companies in the world, has decided to delve deeper into the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. For its over 200 million Prime subscribers, it now offers the opportunity to acquire free digital NFT tokens from popular blockchain games such as Mojo Melee and Blankos Block Party.<\/h2>\n\n

For many, the term “NFT” (non-fungible token) might have been unfamiliar until recently. In short, these are unique digital tokens based on blockchain technology that can be treated as collectible digital assets. And even though the blockchain gaming industry has recently experienced some downturns, Amazon has decided to show that it believes in its potential.<\/p>\n\n

Choosing Prime Gaming as the preferred platform for NFT distribution represents significant support for this technology. Amazon Prime subscribers now have the opportunity to acquire a variety of NFTs that offer specific benefits in games like BBP and Mojo Melee.<\/p>\n\n

Blankos Block Party is a multiplayer game created by Mythical Games and Third Kind Games. It stands out with its unique artistic style and the ability to trade playable NFTs in a “play-and-earn” economy [https:\/\/blankos.com\/<\/a>]. It was the first web3 game to debut in the Epic Stores. For Prime subscribers, unique NFTs such as the Twilight Strix Blanko with special powers, or the Midnight Crest Helmet, a legendary helmet, are available.<\/p>\n\n

Meanwhile, the game Mojo Melee offers its fans the chance to acquire the Gwyn Rockhopper Champion & Ore Bundle NFT set. This strategic game, inspired by deck-building games, was launched in August after an agreement between Mystic Moose studio and Amazon Prime Gaming [https:\/\/mysticmoose.games\/<\/a>]. In addition, players are promised monthly in-game items, such as Spellstones and currency packs.<\/p>\n\n

Following Amazon’s move in the NFT market, there have been rumors about plans for the platform to create its own NFT marketplace. Although nothing has been confirmed at the moment, last month the retail giant added new tools to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable developers to rapidly deploy decentralized applications [https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/<\/a>]. These tools, “Access” and “Query”, have been integrated with the Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) service.<\/p>\n\n
